20.7% of women with disabilities and 28.6% men with disabilities are in full-time employment

Unemployment may lead to poverty and social exclusion and thus 29.5% of women and 27.5% of men with disabilities are at risk of poverty and social exclusion in the EU compared to 22.4% of the entire population

Global Goals

People with disabilities are identified in 8 of the 17 objectives as “people with disabilities”, “especially vulnerable groups of persons” and “vulnerable minorities” are explicitly addressed.
